Who Are We

Victor Felice

Vice Commodore

Victor Felice started sailing as a teenager on the Island of Malta. As with all sailing teenagers at the time, he raced a Mirror 10 dinghy, including winning a National Regatta and he crewed on the ‘adult’ boats whenever possible.

His college years were in Switzerland followed by University in New York. After a hiatus from sailing, but racing formula cars and his special Lola Can Am car, Victor returned to sailing in, of all places, Arizona. The first boat in AZ was a J/24 – the well know ‘Mermaid Rescue’ and now includes a fleet of about 20 boats. Victor owns and operates Tiller and Kites (and IYT school), is the skipper of the local Sea Scouts program, operates a Fractional Ownership sailboat program and still finds time to race any one of the shocking pink ‘Mermaid’ mono and multi hull boats.

Victor is fluent in English, Italian, French and Maltese as well as conversant in Spanish and German. He also served as Rear and Vice Commodore of the local yacht club.
